On December 23rd, Lee Min-jung wrote on her social media account, “Maybe it has been a long time, so I feel like I received a lot of congratulations!! Not only through the photos, but also thanks to all the acquaintances and fans who worried, congratulated, and supported me, and thank you so much to my family. I will give back as much as I am grateful.”

Lee Min-jung’s acquaintances welcomed her new child to the world, saying, “Birdie, nice to meet you. Aunties are waiting for you, Birdie♥.”

Lee Min-jung reportedly gave birth to her daughter on December 21. “Lee gave birth to a daughter in the afternoon. Both the mother and the child are healthy, and the family is happy,” said an official from MSteam Entertainment, her agency.

At the 44th Blue Dragon Film Awards held last month, Lee Byung-hun said in his award acceptance speech, “My second child will be born next month. I will share this honor with Lee Min-jung, my son, and Birdie (second baby), who are watching from home.”
