Recently, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, who spent almost 18 years in a dorm, shared his sentiments upon leaving the dorm after moving to Antenna from SM Entertainment. Despite initial challenges and lack of personal space, Kyuhyun expressed a unique attachment to dorm life.
Kyuhyun, now living independently, acknowledged the peculiar joys of dorm life. He recalled moments of camaraderie, like inviting friends over for drinks, creating a carefree atmosphere.
TWICE’s Jihyo and Girls’ Generation’s Sunny also experienced dorm life for 6 and 11 years, respectively. Jihyo highlighted her desire to experience living alone, adapting to the static nature of solo living.
The transition to independence brought about occasional feelings of emptiness for Sunny, who shared the camaraderie with fellow members.
