Korean cosmetics appeared in Charlie Puth’s new MV? “What the hell is that company?”

An infamous brand of Korean cosmetics appeared in the new MV of pop singer Charlie Puth, drawing attention

At 1PM (KST) on October 7th, Charlie Puth released his 3rd full album as well as the music video for his new song “Loser” on his official YouTube channel.

The MV immediately drew attention, surpassing 110,000 views within two hours of its release.

However, in the middle of the music video, a scene in which Charlie Puth, who plays two roles, takes out cosmetics during a pistol battle, became a hot topic among Korean netizens.

In particular, the aforementioned product features Kim Go Eun as a model and has appeared as PPLs in numerous K-dramas. In the ENA series “Extraordinary Attorney Woo”, which was the most talked-about work in the first half of this year, there was also a scene where Choi Soo Yeon (Ha Yoon Kyung) applied it.

When such a product even appeared in Charlie Puth’s music video, netizens showed their shock via responses like, “What the hell is that company?”, “LOL Korean cosmetics is conquering the universe”, and “I won’t be surprised if Biden also starts to use this brand.”

On the other hand, Charlie Puth, who gained fame through the song “See You Again” to commemorate the late Paul Walker, released his third full-length album “Charlie” on October 7th, and received a lot of attention with his pre-release single “Left and Right”, which featured BTS Jungkook.

Charlie Puth had previously expressed interest in K-pop, and in August, confirmed that he was watching New Jeans’ “Attention” performance.
