Information about the newlywed home of figure skating star Kim Yu-na and Forestella Ko Woo-rim, who is finally holding their wedding today (Oct 22nd), is drawing attention.
According to SPOTV News on October 22nd, the couple set up their newlywed house at a luxury villa with a view look to the Han River in Heukseok-dong, Seoul. The villa is located on a hill along the Nodeul-gil side with Han River view. There is only one building in that area, but it has two basement floors and 10 floors above the ground. Only 18 households live in that 10-story building and each floor has only two apartments. The luxury villa is quite small but it is highly valued for its excellent location, which is near the major transportation hub due to the regional characteristic of being in the center of Seoul.
Earlier in December 2011, Kim Yu-na personally purchased the home in the villa. Kim Yu-na, who has lived there since her purchase, reportedly decided to set it up as her newlywed house while preparing for her marriage to Ko Woo-rim. It is also known that the interior has just been completed recently.
This villa is very famous as it was also where the newlywed house of Jang Dong-geun and Ko So-young was located and the past residence of many stars, such as Hyun Bin, Song Il-gook, etc. In addition, actress and f(x) member Krystal and BIG BANG Daesung are also said to be living here.
Kim Yu-na and Ko Woo-rim will hold their wedding at Shilla Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul. The two began dating after meeting each other at 2018 All That Skate Ice Show’s celebration stage and ended up getting married after three years of dating.
Earlier today, Ko Woo-rim’s agency Beat Interactive released 4 wedding photos of the couple and said, “Our company’s artist Forestella Ko Woo-rim will hold his wedding ceremony with Kim Yu-na today somewhere in Seoul”. The agency continued, “Their wedding will be held privately with the attendance of only close acquaintances and relatives of both families”, adding “We hope fans and media officials can understand that we cannot inform you of the specific time and venue of the wedding”.
