Koo Jun Yup’s unwavering affection for his wife despite the fake news: “Spent time with Barbie Hsu’s family this New Year”

Singer Koo Jun Yup showed his strong affection for his wife Barbie Hsu by spending the Lunar New Year holiday with her family.

According to Chinese media Sina Entertainment, Koo Jun Yup performed as a DJ at the Fuerza Bruta music concert in Taipei, Taiwan, on Jan 25th.

When asked by the reporters how he spent the Lunar New Year holiday, Koo Jun Yup said, “I spent time with Barbie Hsu’s family,” adding, “I cooked them Korean food myself. The most impressive food I ate was dumplings made by my mother-in-law.“

Koo Jun Yup, who spent the Lunar New Year holiday in Taiwan for the first time since his marriage, said he had high expectations and he indeed had a really fun time.

He continued, “It was exactly like my expectation. I really enjoyed the Lunar New Year holiday”, adding “My mother-in-law wanted to try Korean food that I made, so I cooked various Korean dishes for the whole family. Like bulgogi, wraps, stir-fried vegetables, etc.”

After revealing that his family in Korea couldn’t come, Koo Jun Yup smiled and shared, “I gave New Year lucky money to my mother-in-law. I cannot disclose how much. I also received some. I also gave luck money to all the nephews and nieces.”

Meanwhile, Koo Jun Yup and Barbie Hsu met each other for the first time in 1998 then broke up after two years of dating. Early last year, they reunited after 20 years and suddenly announced their marriage, drawing keen attention from netizens in both Korea and Taiwan.
