“I originally wanted Irezumi tattoo” The reason why 24-year-old woman decided to remove her tattoo
The story of a woman wanting to erase a tattoo on her body was revealed.
Recently, a video titled “Removing Botched Tattoos ep.5” was uploaded on Dr. Young Soo’s YouTube channel.
The woman appearing in the video introduced herself as “a 24-year-old from Bucheon”.
When Dr. Young Soo said “I would like to talk about the tattoo you have“, the woman replied, “I have a total of 5 tattoos. It’s the biggest one of the 5, and I don’t like it, so I’m here to remove it.”
The woman explained, “I liked the design, but now that I think about it, I don’t think the quality was good. People around me tell me that the design isn’t very good either. I got the tattoo about 3 years ago, when I was 21 years old.”
Hearing this, Dr. Young Soo asked, “Can you explain in detail about the tattoo that you want to remove?” The woman confessed, “I originally wanted Irezumi tattoo.”
The woman continued, “Socially, a woman with it is considered negatively. I was thinking about it. So, I went to search on Instagram. The design was quite similar to Irezumi, but a bit more unique.”
Dr. Young Soo asked the woman, “What motivated you to remove the tattoo?“
The woman confessed, “It’s because of my ex-boyfriend. As soon as my ex-boyfriend saw the tattoo, he said I look like a slxt. That hurt my feelings quite a lot.”
She went on to say, “My friends told me, ‘Why did you get such a tattoo? You will eventually regret it.’ When I go to the public sauna or swimming pool, no matter how old they are, everyone stares at me. Because of those things, I was having a hard time.”
After checking the treatment area, Dr. Young Soo explained, “They’re mostly red. There are some orange part and some black part as well. For the red, there are some parts that are shallow, and some parts that are deep.“
He added, “The hypertrophic scar doesn’t look too bad. As you know, compared to black tattoos, colored tattoos tend to be harder to be erased. It would be 677,600 won per procedure.“
Afterwards, Dr. Young Soo attracted attention by revealing a scene in which he performed a tattoo removal procedure after proceeding with general anesthesia.
