The BLACKPINK airplane, which started with a flight from Incheon to Paris, has been spotted in San Francisco, USA.
On the afternoon of May 7th (local time), an airplane wrapped with a huge image of BLACKPINK (Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa) appeared at San Francisco International Airport.
Previously on May 3rd, the Korean Air Boeing 777-300ER aircraft wrapped with BLACKPINK made its first appearance at the “2030 Busan World Expo (Expo) Korean Air Special Event” held at Incheon International Airport’s aircraft hangar.
Starting with the Incheon-Paris flight KE901 on May 4th, the BLACKPINK airplane, which promotes the hosting of the “2030 Busan World Expo”, was found at San Francisco International Airport on the afternoon of the 7th.
Korean Air, which signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with YG Entertainment in March for building a strategic partnership, has become the official sponsoring airline of the BLACKPINK world tour.
In accordance with this, Korean Air will support discounted air tickets and free additional baggage for BLACKPINK World Tour’s artists and staff until August, while passengers will be able to watch BLACKPINK’s special welcome message video on board.
BLACKPINK, who proved their global status by headlining the US’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival last month, has taken to the skies to promote the Busan Expo, using their astounding recognition.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is scheduled to return to North America in August for encore concerts of their world tour, BORN PINK
