“Short Clip Most Views Award” Kim Jong-kook “Thanks to ‘Running Man’ + I hope Ji Seok-jin comes back soon”
On the evening of Dec 30th, the “2023 SBS Entertainment Awards” took place at SBS Prism Tower in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. The MCs for the event were Lee Sang-min, Lee Hyun-yi and Kim Ji-eun.
The Short Clip Most Views Award went to Kim Jong-kook. The Short Clip Most Views Award was presented by Kim Jong-min and Lee Hyo-cheol, who achieved 200 million views online with the “Slick Back Challenge”.
Taking the stage with the Ji Seok-jin panel, Kim Jong-kook said, “I didn’t even know there was something like this. Seok-jin seems to have won first place in Saudi Arabia, and I think he’d like it more than anyone else.”
He shared his thoughts, “Looking at the results, Seok-jin perhaps got second place. I want to share this with him and hope Seok-jin comes back quickly. (I won this award) thanks to ‘Running Man’. I’m very grateful to many people around the world who support us.”
He added, “In the future, we, the members, will run hard for SBS and return the favor to our fans around the world.”
