Kim Seon-ho finally made his official statement through his agency on Oct 20th regarding the situation surrounding him. He apologized to both his fans and his ex-girlfriend.
Kim Seon-ho finally expressed his position through his agency Salt Entertainment on Oct 20th, saying, “I am truly sorry for the delay of my announcement. I am finally writing this after experiencing such fear for the first time seeing that article with my name mentioned a while ago.”
Kim Seon-ho said, “She (OP) and I went out with good feelings. In the process, I hurt her with my bad and inconsiderate actions. I wanted to meet her in person and apologize first. However, I still could not deliver a proper apology and I’m waiting for that time. Before that, I want to sincerely apologize to her through this article.”
Kim Seon-ho apologized, saying, “I’m sorry for having disappointed everyone who trusts and supports me until the end,” adding, “I was able to stand here as the actor Kim Seon-ho thanks to people who always supported me, but I forgot about that.” He then apologized repeatedly, saying, “Because of my lacking self, I’m sorry for causing trouble to all staff and the people who have worked with me,” adding, “I want to sincerely apologize to everyone who was hurt.”
The agency Salt Entertainment also apologized, saying, “We apologize to people who have been disappointed and damaged by this incident.”
Meanwhile, on Oct 17th, an article titled “I accuse the dual and shameless real-life personality of a popular actor K” appeared on an online community. A, who posted the post, claimed that she was the ex-girlfriend who had dated K, and that K unilaterally notified her of their breakup after urging her to have an abortion under the pretense of marriage.
Since then, allegations have started to emerge that the actor K mentioned in the article is Kim Seon-ho. Salt Entertainment, Kim Seon-ho‘s agency, has refused to receive any inquiries and coverage from the media for a day on the 18th, further raising suspicions.
Meanwhile, Salt Entertainment said on the morning of Oct 19th, “We are sincerely sorry for the delay in our official announcement. We are currently grasping the facts of the anonymous article. As the facts have not yet been clearly confirmed, we sincerely ask for your patience.” They also canceled the interview for tvN’s drama “Hometown Cha Cha Cha” which was scheduled to be held on the 20th.
