Kim Jong-kook shared insights about maintaining his current situation, including all-black sportswear fashion and not being in a relationship, during the press conference for The Life’s original entertainment show “Make Handsome: Change! My Man” held online on January 23rd.

To Yoon Hyeong-bin’s question “I know that you aren’t currently in a relationship. Are you going to maintain the current situation in terms of fashion and dating?“, Kim Jong-kook, who is interested in exercise but usually wears all-black sportswear, replied, “If there are no significant changes, I think it will continue. If things suddenly change, I might die, wouldn’t I?“

CP Park Hyun-woo, who mentioned that Kim Jong-kook was the top priority for casting, explained, “Kim Jong-kook is a symbol of exercise and self-care. He is known not to drink or smoke, so when young people see him, they want to be like him, except for the dating part. That’s why we prioritized casting him.”
