Kim Sae Ron, who had been with Moonbin since debut, quietly paid tribute

Actress Kim Sae Ron, who starred in a drama with the late Moonbin, quietly mourns her friend amid drunk-drinking controversy.

On April 24th, Kim Sae Ron changed the profile picture on her SNS account to a photo of dandelion flowers.

The dandelion flower was the last photo Moonbin left for his fans before his passing. On April 11th, Moonbin posted a photo of a dandelion flower, along with the caption, “Dandelion seeds, ride the wind and spread far and wide. Tell my precious people that spring has come by gently tickling them.”

It is known that actress Kim Sae Ron belonged to Fantagio with Moonbin in the past. In fact, Kim Sae Ron, Moonbin, Cha Eun Woo, JinJin, MJ, Rocky, and Yoon Sanha appeared together in the web drama “To Be Continued”, which was produced by Fantagio in 2015. “To Be Continued” is also a work that introduced the members of ASTRO before their official debut in 2016.

Born in 1998, Moonbin began his career as a child model and made his official debut in the entertainment industry with a child role in the 2009 KBS 2TV drama “Boys Over Flowers”. He later debuted as a member of the group ASTRO in 2016, and released hit songs such as “Crazy Sexy Cool” and “Confession”.

In addition to his singing career, Moonbin also appeared in variety shows such as “The Ultimate Watchlist of Latest Trends” and “SNL Korea”. In January, he released the mini-album “Incense” with group member Sanha, actively promoting and meeting fans.

However, Moonbin was found dead at his home in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, at around 8:10 pm (KST) on April 19th, causing deep sorrow for many. His funeral was held privately on April 22nd, in accordance with the wishes of the bereaved family.
