In episode 176 of tvN’s entertainment show “You Quiz on the Block” (hereinafter referred to as “You Quiz”), which aired on Jan 11th, actress Kim Hye Ja appeared as a guest.
When asked what kind of person her husband was, Kim Hye Ja shed tears after answering, “My husband is a very good person.“
She recalled, “I cry whenever I talk about my husband. It’s been a long time since he passed away. He’s a really good person. He’s charming. He passed away from cancer. Before he passed away, he told me, ‘What should we do? You can’t do anything without me.’ I said, ‘I know how to do everything now. Don’t worry.’“
She added, “Writing ‘Congratulations’, ‘Wealth’ in Chinese characters is cool. My husband wrote them for me. I couldn’t write Chinese characters well, so I told him, ‘Write this a lot for me. What should I do if I don’t have you?’ He wrote this much then left. I’m so sorry when I think about that now. I asked a sick person to write a lot… I did it to express ‘I can’t live without you’.“
Meanwhile, Kim Hye Ja’s husband passed away from pancreatic cancer in 1998. They have one son and one daughter.
