Kang Mina’s current appearance surprises netizens as she looks completely different from when she made her debut

The idol-turned-actress, absent from the public eye for some time, appeared drastically different from her cute and bubbly image of the past.

On March 16, Shiseido held a pop-up store event in Seoul’s Seongdong-gu. Kang Mina was one of the celebrities who attended the event, alongside other stars such as Lee Sung Kyung and Kim Woo Seok.

What made Kang Mina stand out from the crowd was her appearance in a white suit, paired with a sharp bob haircut that accentuated her chic and mature aura. 

In front of the reporters, she made a cheek heart with her hands, further adding to her alluring charm.

Gone were the cute chubby cheeks that she was known for in the past, Kang Mina boasted a more mature and sophisticated look. 

Her makeup, which featured a change from straight eyebrows to arched ones, also contributed to the transformation.

Fans were quick to praise Kang Mina’s new look, with many commenting on her age-appropriate beauty and the fact that she has moved beyond her previous image as a cute and innocent idol. 

In 2016, Kang Mina debuted in the girl group I.O.I before joining Gugudan. She has since embarked on an acting career.

Last year, Kang Mina starred in the KBS2 drama “Please Don’t Date Him”. Fans are eagerly anticipating her next project.
