Cooking items used by BTS Jungkook are selling out, proving immense influence

BTS Jungkook is demonstrating his overwhelming influence as his recipes have caused a relay of sold-out cooking items.

In a personal live broadcast on the fan community Weverse on the morning of April 25th, Jungkook cooked his self-developed recipe, using a sauce made from 4 tablespoon perilla oil (cold pressed, 100% pure perilla oil), 2 tablespoon Cham sauce (meat seasoning), 1 tablespoon Buldak sauce, 1 tablespoon Buldak mayo sauce, and 1 egg yolk (white string removed) poured over boiled buckwheat noodles and topped with thinly seasoned dried seaweed flakes.

In addition, Jungkook strongly recommended using seasoned dried seaweed flakes, stating, “You can’t use regular dried seaweed powder! It has to be seasoned dried seaweed flakes! Because seasoned dried seaweed flakes have both salty and sweet tastes.”

As a result, the dried seaweed used by Jungkook has been selling out continuously on the homepage of Korean retailer Coupang, highlighting the powerful “Jungkook effect”, which is so immense that even cooking items are being sold out.

In addition, if one put the name of Jungkook’s recipe on Coupang, ingredients used to cook the dish, such as Cham sauce and Buldak sauce, also appeared.

Last month, Jungkook caused an explosive sensation with his recipe for “Bulguri”, a combination of Buldak stir-fried noodles and Neoguri. Soon after, the producer of Neoguri, Nongshim, applied for a trademark for “Bulguri”, drawing attention.
