On June 21st, tvN said, “Jeon Do-yeon and Jung Kyung-ho have confirmed their appearance in the new drama ‘One Shot Scandal’ (written by Yang Hee-sung/ directed by Yoo Je-won)”.

“One Shot Scandal” depicts a sweet and bitter scandal centering on a passionate athlete-turned-owner of a grocery store who belatedly enters the examination hell and a skillful teacher of the No.1 private education center in Korea. The drama will tell stories of people, who are warm but cold, sweet but dizzying, against the backdrop of the endless examination hell.

K-Dramas

Above all, attention is focused on the collaboration of legendary actors Jeon Do-yeon and Jung Kyung-ho, who performs attractive acting in each of their work. In addition, Yang Hee-seung, who was behind the success of “Once Again” and “Familiar Wife”, will team up with “Hometown Cha Cha Cha” director Yoo Je-won, raising high expectations.

In the drama, Jeon Do-yeon will play Nam Haeng-seon, a former national team athlete and grocery store owner who belatedly joins the overheated education market. Nam Haeng-seon is not easily swayed by hardships and she is a person who doesn’t make excuses for her choice.

K-drama characters who are the most amazing friends

Jung Kyung-ho will appear as Choi Chi-yeol, a one-shot instructor who is a born genius and a hard-working person. Owning outstanding skills, great eloquence, and brilliant showmanship, he gains both wealth and fame. However, he is mean and unsympathetic to others because he’s nervous at every moment in order to survive.

The production team of “One Shot Scandal” said, “Please look forward to the immersive and exciting romantic comedy performances of trustworthy actors Jeon Do-yeon and Jung Kyung-ho, as well as the stories of different people hiding behind their splendid outlooks against the background of the college entrance war.”
