While Lee Sun-kyun’s drug scandal is still a hot topic, the news of G-Dragon being booked on drug charges added to the disappointment of the public. Like Lee Sun-kyun, G-Dragon is also said to be a VIP member of the entertainment establishment that only the top 1% of rich people can enter. The main customers of this luxury hostess bar are known to be famous athletes, celebrities, and high-ranking figures in the business world.

What’s more shocking is that the price for a table of 3-4 people alone costs around 8-10 million won, and aspiring female entertainers or model-turned-hostesses can be hired at the price of 2 million won.

Lee Sun-kyun got to know this entertainment establishment through an acquaintance. After becoming a regular customer there, he became close with A, the director of the bar. A got arrested on drug charges and the actor was revealed to have taken drugs at A’s residence in Seoul. The police reportedly secured the statement mentioning G-Dragon while questioning A.

After Yoo Ah-in and Lee Sun-kyun, celebrity drug scandals continued with G-Dragon this time. In fact, this is not the first time G-Dragon has been suspected of taking drugs. He was accused of smoking marijuana in Japan in May 2011 and even got a positive result in a hair test. However, the prosecution suspended the case because G-Dragon was a first-time offender and the ingredients had not reached the criteria for drug punishment. Later, G-Dragon appeared on an SBS program and explained that he received a cigarette from a stranger at an afterparty and did not know it contained drug ingredients.

After Lee Sun-kyun’s drug use was reported, the police have continued to investigate a former entertainer and plan to expand the investigation to surrounding individuals, such as Hwang Ha-na and former trainee Han Seo-hee.
