Even though he slept for less than 3 hours, Jin still looked handsome as ever.
On December 4th, the behind-the-scenes of “Sea of JIN island” was posted on BTS’s YouTube channel. In the video, Jin boasted a strikingly handsome appearance.
Regarding the concept, Jin explained, “I thought it would be nice to come out with a reversed charm. That’s why I am doing a pirate and navy concept.”
Jin explained the pirate concept in more detail. He said, “I wanted to show diversity by combining a typical Korean sea background with a Western style of clothing.”
He added, “The photographer said he really wanted to take pictures of the sunrise or sunset, so I went to bed at 1:30 a.m. yesterday, and woke up at 4 a.m. I came to take pictures at the time of sunrise, and the sun really rose in two minutes. I was really surprised. It was definitely dark.”
Jin said, “At first, the clothes were tidier and simpler, like those of an old medieval aristocrat, but I suggested, ‘Shouldn’t pirate clothes be a little more dirty and messy?’.”
The video also showed Jin moving on a boat for filming. Jin confessed, “I couldn’t sleep even though I tried to sleep for 30 minutes in the morning, so I fell asleep right after the second concept was over.”
Fans applauded Jin’s hard work even though it was difficult.
