BTS to perform at the 2022 GRAMMY AWARDS, “They will perform for the 3rd consecutive year”

BTS will perform on the stage of the GRAMMY AWARDS, the most prestigious music awards in the U.S, for the third consecutive year. 

The U.S Recording Academy, which organizes the GRAMMY AWARDS, announced the lineup for the 64th GRAMMY AWARDS ceremony on its official website on March 15th (local time).

Following last year, BTS was selected as a performer again. The boy group was named alongside Brother Osborne, Brandi Carlile, Billie Eilish, Lil NasX with Jack Harlow, Olivia Rodrigo, etc.

Announcing the list of performers, the Recording Academy introduced, “BTS was nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance with ‘Butter’”. As a result, BTS has participated in the GRAMMY AWARDS for the 4th consecutive year. In 2019, they attended the awards ceremony as a presenter and established their relationship with the GRAMMY AWARDS for the first time.

In the following year (2020), BTS made a joint performance with Lil NasX. Last year, the boy group was nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and performed a solo stage.

Meanwhile, the 64th GRAMMY AWARDS will be held in Las Vegas on the 3rd of next month. It will be broadcast live around the world through CBS, an American TV channel
