BABYMONSTER’s YouTube surpassed 1 million subscribers even before debut

YG Entertainment’s new girl group BABYMONSTER shows great popularity as their YouTube channel surpassed 1 million subs in less than 2 months.

According to YG Entertainment on February 18th, the number of subscribers to BABYMONSTER’s official YouTube channel reached 1 million at 0:18 (KST) on the same day. It has been about 52 days since the channel opened on December 28th, 2022.

The number of YouTube subscribers goes beyond simple curiosity or one-time viewing, and serves as an objective indicator of a highly loyal fandom. In other words, BABYMONSTER already has a strong fandom on YouTube, proving popularity in the global music market.

Starting with the BABYMONSTER’s launch teaser on January 1st, YG is sequentially releasing performance videos and individual introductions of the seven members.
