According to MRC Data, “Christmas Tree” debuted atop the Digital Song Sales chart with just over 23,500 copies sold. Forbes pointed out the meaning. They explained, “V beat the runner-up bestselling tune, Gayle’s ‘ABCDEFU’ (11,000 units), more than twice over.”
He also set an unrivaled record in the holiday season song rankings. “Christmas Tree” topped the “Holiday Digital Song Sales” chart, which ranks the bestselling tunes in America that Billboard labels as “holiday”. Moreover, it was listed on Billboard’s main chart. “Christmas Tree” debuted at #79 on the “Hot 100”. This is the first time a Korean drama’s OST has entered this chart.
“Christmas Tree” drew attention from listeners around the world even before its official release. It set many records including No.1 on the Billboard Hot Trending chart.
