3. On Your Wedding Day

On Your Wedding Day is a must-watch movie every Christmas season. On Your Wedding Day has many similarities with the classic Taiwanese melodrama You Are Apple Of My Eyes. On Your Wedding Day is about the first love of Seung Hee (Park Bo Young) and Woo Yeon (Kim Young Kwang) during their youth days.

Seung Hee, a playful student, falls in love at first sight with transfer student Seung Hee. Their feelings then go beyond friendship and the two become lovers. On Your Wedding Day is divided into many stages, the main couple break up and reunite but at a wrong time.

4. Inseparable Bros

The next movie I want to introduce to you this Christmas season is Inseparable Bros, which premiered in 2019. Inseparable Bros is inspired by the true story of two brothers who have neither the same father nor the same mother but have relied on each other for more than 20 years.

In it, Kang Se Ha (Shin Ha Kyun) cannot walk on his feet but is always a solid support for his brother, Dong Gu (Lee Kwang Soo), a tall, big but stupid boy.

Life seemed peaceful until one day they encountered one event after another.  The climax is when the two brothers have to separate because Dong Gu’s biological mother returns and wants to bring Dong Gu back home.  By the end of the movie, they have overcome all adversity and get back together like before.

5. Exit

The perfect movie for this year’s Christmas season is Exit, a movie that is both funny and dramatic.  The film tells the process of Yoona and Jo Jung Suk facing the threat of white toxic gas.  In addition to having to save themselves, Yoona and Jo Jung Suk also used their skills to save people trapped in the building.

When watching this movie, the audience will have moments of tears because of family affection, the sacrifice of health, even the life of the main couple to save those around and burst with happiness when everyone is safe.

The drama is set in Incheon in the 1993s, when Park Du Seok (Sung Dong Il) and his colleagues have to temporarily babysit a little girl until her mother has enough money to pay off the debt.  However, because of her mother’s difficulties, two debt collectors had to take care of her longer than expected. Originally, they were complete strangers, but through many events they became close and lived together like a family.
