The recent string of serious injuries among HYBE's idols has left fans outraged and raising questions against the agency.

As one of the most powerful entertainment empires today, HYBE consistently dominates social media with the activities of its groups. However, with their packed schedules, the health of HYBE’s idols is a major concern for fans. Recently, many idols under HYBE have suffered serious injuries, with the number so far reaching nearly 10 with leg injuries, rousing worries.

TXT’s Beomgyu on Crutches

Recently, images of Beomgyu of TXT using crutches and struggling to move at the airport while heading to Japan went viral. The male idol had both crutches and a leg brace. Despite the inconvenience, he still smiled and waved at fans. Earlier, Big Hit announced that Beomgyu had suffered an ankle injury and had missed some schedules to recover. After some time, the idol gradually returned to group activities but still couldn’t walk normally. During this period, Beomgyu did not perform any choreography.

TXT is currently on their “ACT: PROMISE” world tour and preparing for promotions in Japan. Due to the important schedule, Beomgyu tried to participate in promotional activities. TXT is known for their strong choreography in the 4th generation of Kpop, and fans are extremely concerned and saddened by Beomgyu’s leg injury.

Rookie ILLIT’s Wonhee also Injured

Not only HYBE’s male groups face issues, but the rookie girl group ILLIT is also not exempt. Since the Weverse Con 2024 stage in early June, ILLIT member Wonhee has been injured in one leg. BELIFT LAB – ILLIT’s managing label – announced that Wonhee would be performing while seated due to her leg pain.

SEVENTEEN Has 3 Members with Leg Injuries

When talking about groups with injured idols, excluding SEVENTEEN would be a mistake. SEVENTEEN currently has 3 members with leg injuries. The eldest duo, S.Coups and Jeonghan, suffered severe injuries that required surgery and a long break from activities, only returning to the group at the end of March.
