TWICE dethroned BLACKPINK to become the Kpop girl group with the most attended North American tour
TWICE set new impressive records with their first concerts in the US after 2 years.
From February 15 to 27, TWICE successfully held 7 concerts, part of the 4TH WORLD TOUR ‘III’ in 5 major cities in the US with more than 100,000 tickets sold. By surpassing this number of tickets sold, TWICE officially became the Kpop female act with the most attended North American tour, and also the first and only Korean girl group in history to reach an attendance of 100,000. BTS and TWICE are the only Kpop artists to record 100,000 audiences for their US tours.

Moreover, TWICE’s reputation in the U.S has increased significantly compared to that of 2019. It seems like the success of their English single “The Feels” has contributed a lot to this. Anti fans often say that TWICE will never go further than Japanese and Korean markets because their music color, which is like “kid songs”, doesn’t suit the taste of Western music fans.
