On April 14, a video titled “Get Ready to Meet Team ‘Perfect Crown‘!” was uploaded to the YouTube channel TEO.
During the episode, Jang Do Yeon asked actress Gong Seung Yeon—the older sister of TWICE’s Jeongyeon—whether her sibling gives her feedback on her work. Gong Seung Yeon responded, “Not at all,” but added humorously, “Still, she has no choice but to watch ‘Perfect Crown.’ She’s a huge fan of IU—she even takes out IU’s albums and tells me not to touch them.”
The conversation then shifted to IU attending a TWICE concert. Jang Do Yeon mentioned, “I heard you came to the concert secretly.”
IU confirmed, “I really like TWICE, so I went,” adding that Jeongyeon later sent her a direct message that she didn’t see at first. “I only found out later on set through Seung Yeon and then sent my thanks,” she explained.
Gong Seung Yeon shared that her sister had wanted to invite IU personally but worried whether IU would even see the message due to the overwhelming number of notifications she receives.
Jang Do Yeon then pointed out that even when IU receives invitations, she is known to pay for tickets herself. IU explained, “As someone who also performs, watching concerts is a form of learning for me. I usually go quietly, watch the entire show, and fully enjoy it.”
She added that she has attended not only TWICE’s concerts but also performances by D.O., emphasizing that she tries to go to as many concerts as possible. “It helps relieve stress and feels very healing,” she said.
When Gong Seung Yeon mentioned that Jeongyeon had wanted to give her tickets but she chose to purchase them instead, IU simply replied, “Because I really like TWICE,” expressing her genuine admiration as a fan.
Gong Seung Yeon concluded warmly, “That’s probably why my sister ended up watching my drama from start to finish and even keeping up with the live broadcast,” adding a heartwarming note to the conversation.
