This movie-like story of a foreign fan meeting BTS’s Jung-kook is currently a hot topic online

A foreign fan recently drew attention by telling an anecdote of her meeting with BTS’s Jung-kook.

On May 27th, a Thai fan of boy group BTS revealed the story of her unexpected meeting with Jung-kook through SNS.

The place where she met Jungkook on the same day was the Seoul Jazz Festival. This Thai fan was just enjoying the music somewhere far from the stage. Suddenly, she noticed that the man sitting behind her was humming along to the song on the stage. He sang so well that made the fan turn her head around to look at him. 

The Thai fan knew at the first glance that it was BTS’s Jung-kook. Still, she asked the friend next to her about the position of Jung-kook’s lip piercings and checked it one more time. Her friend turned backward to check and confirmed that it was Jung-kook based on the tattoo on his hand.

The Thai fan said that she waited until Jung-kook got up to ask for his autograph so that she would not disturb him while he was enjoying the festival. She also showed a photo of Jung-kook’s hand when he was signing on her tablet PC.

Internet users on Korean online communities responded enthusiastically to the story, saying it was more like a movie than a real movie. Many people expressed their envy, questioning the possibility to meet BTS’s Jungkook just by looking backward when hearing a nice singing voice.

In addition, other netizens also commented, “That fan is so nice. She enjoyed her daily life freely, waited to get his autography without disturbing him”, “She’s so cool.
