Song Joong-ki To Host Broadcaster Ahn Hye-kyung’s Wedding Amid “Hopeless” Promotion Schedules

Actor Song Joong-ki will host the wedding of broadcaster Ahn Hye-kyung

According to recent reports, Song Joong-ki will become the host for the wedding ceremony of broadcaster Ahn Hye-kyung on September 24th and deliver his blessings.

Song Joong-ki married British actress Katy Louise Saunders in January and announced the birth of his son in June. While raising the baby with his son overseas, Song Joong-ki returned to Korea on the 19th to attend the press preview for “Hopeless” on the 22nd and began his official schedules to promote the film.

Following the press preview, the actor’s second schedule is Ahn Hye-kyung’s wedding. Because of his close relationship with Ahn Hye-kyung and her husband-to-be, Song Joong-ki decided to be in charge of hosting their wedding despite his busy schedule in Korea.

Attracting keen attention since the production stage by starring Song Joong-ki will no guarantee, “Hopeless” will premiere on October 11th. Interviews with the actor begin on September 25th.

An official told Sports World, “If you know Song Joong-ki’s personality well, you will understand why he agreed to become a wedding host”, adding “This shows Song Joong-ki’s loyalty to his friend and that he wants to take care of them until the end.”

Ahn Hye-kyung will hold her wedding at a wedding hall in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the 24th after dating a broadcasting staff for about a year.

Ahn Hye Kyung debuted in 2001 when she was selected as a weather forecaster in MBC’s open recruitment. Later, she turned to acting and appeared in various dramas, such as “I Really Really Like You” (2006), “The Woman Who Still Wants To Marry” (2010), etc. She is currently active as a cast member of SBS TV’s entertainment program “Kick A Goal”.

Ever since her debut, Ahn Hye-kyung has been spreading good influence by doing continuous volunteer work, from helping abandoned dog protection facilities to supporting food for isolated neighbors, donating briquettes, and participating in sports day with children at orphanages.
