According to the prosecution and others, A was sentenced to three violations of the Minor Crime Punishment Act for stalking the residence of Rain and Kim Tae Hee 14 times from March to October last year and ringing their doorbell.

However, on Feb 27th, as A went back to Rain and Kim Tae Hee’s residence, knocked on the door and rang the doorbell, she was arrested by the police who were dispatched after Rain’s report. In addition, in April, she reportedly went to the hair salon used by the celebrities and continued stalking them.

In response, the police decided not to send the case in April on reasons that it is difficult to say that there is the continuity and repetition necessary to establish a stalking crime. However, when the prosecution demanded a reinvestigation and transmission, it was confirmed that A has been sent without detention in September.

Earlier in 2020, Rain’s agency, Sublime Artist Agency, released the CCTV footage of a woman stalking Rain and Kim Tae Hee’s home and pressing the doorbell, signaling that it will take legal respond against actions like that.
