The best Korean films of the year and the actors starring in them are up for consideration in the 44th Blue Dragon Film Awards
The awards ceremony has commenced the selection of nominees by experts and public voting.
From Oct 11th (Wednesday) until Oct 29th (Sunday), public voting for the 44th Blue Dragon Film Awards nominee selection is being conducted on the official website of the Blue Dragon Film Awards (www.blueaward.co.kr).
The Blue Dragon Film Awards have gained recognition from the public and industry professionals since their inception in 1963 for their fair and transparent judging process. The final nominees are determined by aggregating the results of the expert panel and public voting.
Public voting is available in 15 categories, including Best Film, Best Director, Best New Director, Best Actor/Actress, Best Supporting Actor/Actress, Best New Actor/Actress, Best Cinematography and Lighting, Best Screenplay, Best Music, Best Art Direction, Best Editing and Technical Award, except for Audience Choice Award and Popular Star Award.
The focus is now on who/which will become the final nominees for the 44th Blue Dragon Film Awards after receiving the selections from both experts and the public.
The 44th Blue Dragon Film Awards will be held on Nov 24th (Friday) at KBS Hall in Yeouido and broadcast live through KBS.
