Former Lovelyz member Mi Joo expressed her affection for Korea’s national team soccer player Cho Gue Sung.
The new episode of MBC’s entertainment program “Hangout with Yoo”, which aired on December 10th, showed the scene where Mi Joo mentioned Cho Gue Sung.
On the broadcast, Yoo Jae Suk, Shin Bong Sun, Park Jin Joo and Mi Joo appeared in clothes that were the trends in the 1880s and moved to their filming site in an old car.
Shin Bong Sun said, “The Olympics will happen soon”. Park Jin Joo asked, “What year are we in now?”. When Yoo Jae Suk hinted, “We’re in the 80s”, Park Jin Joo reacted, “That’s when Mi Joo was born”. The four quickly adapted to a situational skit and showed off their witty talks.
At that moment, Mi Joo mentioned Cho Gue Sung, saying “I don’t know why, but I think I will date a soccer player named Cho Gue Sung in the future”.
Park Jin Joo angrily said, “You’re a crime”. Mi Joo laughed and said, “I’m just saying it”. Shin Bong Sun confessed, “I envy the mother of a soccer player named Cho Gue Sung”. Upon hearing that, Mi Joo added, “I should be her daughter-in-law”.
Shin Bong Sun jokingly said, “If you keep on being like that, you won’t be able to get married. Even after turning 40. Is there anyone who is over 40 but hasn’t married?”
Yoo Jae Suk, Shin Bong Sun, Park Jin Joo and Mi Joo then changed the lyrics of Lee Sun Hee’s song “I Always Miss You” to Cho Gue Sung’s name, drawing laughter.
