Kim Min Hee is a member of group The Lush, which CEO Jeon Hong Joon created under his former company. She is currently married and left the entertainment industry to focus on parenting as a mother of two children.

Kim Min Hee revealed why she posted CEO Jeon Hong Joon’s moving stories on SNS, “After building a wall with the world while raising two children, an acquaintance asked if it (the FIFTY FIFTY incident) was about my boss, so I learned about it. The state was like ‘Even if it goes well, public opinion is already turning its back on the members. If it doesn’t work out, the boss will lose all of his investment’. Bad situations kept coming out, so I decided to post (moving stories) to inform people around me.”

She added, “I signed a contract with the boss as a trainee around the age of 23 and made my belated debut in 2013. Our concept aimed to be like Mamamoo, but it didn’t go well.”

Lee Jin Ho asked, “When things don’t go well for a failed group, it’s common to turn away from the company. Why did you share your story?” And Minhee replied, “It’s natural to have complaints about your boss. But I had trust in the CEO. He never exposed us to a bad environment, saying that as long as we sing well, being a singer is enough. At that time, he arranged for us to receive guitar lessons from the famous teacher, Lim Hyun Ki, and even provided acting lessons for us, even though we’re singers.”

Furthermore, she said, “We are heavily in debt and have to recover the investment, but even when we performed at events with low profits, he still settled accounts for us.” She continued, “Since you guys are of a certain age, it’s difficult to focus on activities without any allowance. The CEO understood that. Even though he must have had a lot of expenses, he was like a real father to us.

Due to the difficult experience of disbanding a co-ed group called Sharp, she mentioned, “He emphasized that the members should always get along.”

Regarding FIFTY FIFTY’s criticism of the incompetence of CEO Jeon Hong Joon, she responded, “Their achievements are evidence. Isn’t their entry into the Billboard charts proof of the CEO’s abilities? They said they were struggling and asking to terminate their contracts. Isn’t this going too far?

Minhee expressed her concerns, “The CEO is now alone, without anyone by his side, and I’m worried that he might feel lonely and have negative thoughts.” She continued, “After I conveyed the CEO’s story, I received a lot of DMs from FIFTY FIFTY fans, sending me curses. Many of them contain content like, ‘How much did you get paid?’ I don’t want to respond to each one, but there are people mentioning even my children, making me cry.
