MBC’s Subtitle Controversy Solved By Seventeen, “BTS Built HYBE’s Building”

In the latest episode of MBC’s “Hangout With Yoo,” which aired on April 27th, cast members Yoo Jae-seok, Haha, Joo Woo-jae, Park Jin-ju, Lee Yi-kyung, and Lee Mi-joo visited HYBE’s office building.

After arriving at HYBE, the members met members Seungkwan, Hoshi, and Dokyeom of the group Seventeen. Yoo Jae-suk said, “I’ve only passed by HYBE, but I didn’t know it was this big. JYP and YG are big, but this is huge,” and he said, “I wanted to end at visiting YG, but I didn’t expect it to end here (at HYBE). The scale is (amazing).” Seungkwan said, “It feels like we’re going on an outing, too,” and Hoshi stressed, “It’s all built by BTS.”

When they all came to the cafeteria, Seventeen members said they had never used the company cafeteria, saying, “(It is our first visit to the cafeteria),” which surprised everyone. The cafeteria on the 18th floor boasted a huge floor space. Seventeen members also said with wide eyes, “They should have let us know when we have a restaurant like this. We ordered on delivery apps every day.” The cafeteria on a high floor boasted a wide view of the Han River. Cold udon and water parsley gomtang were on the menu. The members who were rationed for the meal were surprised of the salad bar.

Meanwhile, MBC previously caused controversy due to a subtitle on the show that said “Seventeen built HYBE’s building,” which was deleted later.
