The first official trial of Yang Hyun-suk on the allegation of suppressing B.I’s drug purchase investigation will be held today
The first trial of the former CEO of YG Ent – Yang Hyun-suk, who was indicted on charges of covering up the case when B.I (former iKON member) was investigated for drug purchase will be held today.
The 23rd Criminal Agreement Division (senior judge Yoo Young-geun) of the Seoul Central District Court will hold the first official trial against Yang Hyun-suk (former CEO of YG Ent.), who was indicted without detention for threatening retaliation under the Act on Aggravated Punishment of Special Crimes at 10 A.M today (November 5th).
Although the trial preparation was held in August, today’s trial is the official first trial. Former CEO Yang didn’t attend the trial preparation, but he is expected to appear in court today as he is obligated to attend the official trial.
Former CEO Yang was put on trial on charges of threatening A, a former trainee who was arrested on drug charges, to prevent the investigation on B.I’s purchasing of drugs through A.
