A representative from one actor’s team shared with the media, “We got wind of the black dress code on the afternoon of December 27, right after the passing of Lee Sun Kyun. It’s common for male actors to wear black suits on the red carpet without much ado. As for actresses, I believe they might need some time to prepare their outfits.”

On December 27, Korean media reported the passing of Lee Sun Kyun in his parked car near Waryong Park, Jongno District, Seoul. According to sources, actress Jeon Hye Jin discovered the farewell letter left by her husband Lee Sun Kyun and promptly reported it to the police, but unfortunately, she couldn’t prevent her husband’s tragic death.

The funeral for Lee Sun Kyun took place at Seoul National University Hospital in South Korea. On December 27-28, numerous stars, including Jung Woo Sung, Lee Jung Jae, Ha Jung Woo, Jeon Do Yeon, Siwon, Jo Jung Suk, Yoo Yeon Seok, Lee Sung Min, Yoon Kye Sang, came to bid their final farewell to the late actor on his last journey.
