So Ji-sub revealed blind date story with Hong Jin-kyung, “Mistaking Olivia Hussey as Olive” 

Actor So Ji-sub revealed the story of his blind date with model Hong Jin-kyung.

In the October 12th episode of the tvN entertainment program “You Quiz on the Block”, actor So Ji-sub, who is known for his versatility in character portrayal, appeared for the special episode “Thousand Faces”.

Here, Yoo Jae-suk inquired about a dating episode of the actor, saying, “I heard that you had a blind date with Hong Jin-kyung through Jeong Sun-hee in the past.” 

In response to this, Son Seok-gu shared, ““I thought I would talk about this someday. I was a sub-MC of a TV program, and was talking with Jeong Sun-hee about this and that. She asked what my ideal type was, and I told her, then she asked me to eat with her without saying that she would meet me. In the end, I went out to eat, but Hong Jin-kyung came instead.”

“At the time, I said my ideal type was Olivia Hussey, but Jeong Sun-hee mistook her for Popeye’s girlfriend Olive, and Hong Jin-kyung resembled Olive”, So Ji-sub said, adding, “It doesn’t turn out well.”

Yoo Jae-suk then called Hong Jin-kyung and let So Ji-sub greeted her. However, the model didn’t recognize him, and Yoo Jae-suk gave her a hint, saying, “He was on a blind date with you.”
