PEAK TIME’s production team, “If Kim Hyun Jae’s school violence allegations are true, we will take action”

On March 7th, JTBC’s “PEAK TIME” said to Star News that they are “taking time to carefully investigate and clarify the facts” regarding the allegations that Kim Hyun Jae was a school violence perpetrator.

They continued, “If the allegations are confirmed to be true, the production team plans to take action at the program level”, adding “We will be very cautious to ensure that no one, including other cast members, becomes an unintended victim.”

Earlier, a netizen on an online community raised suspicion of school violence against Kim Hyun Jae, who is appearing in the program “PEAK TIME”.

That netizen claimed themselves as Kim Hyun Jae’s elementary and middle school classmate and revealed, “Even though I didn’t want to remember anything from the first day of my transfer to the day of our graduation from middle school, all those things keep coming back to my mind and making me suffer pain. Every time he had a chance, he always made me start my day with comments like ‘you smell f***ing bad’ even when I just went to school.”

They continued, “Once, he asked me to chase him as a joke, so I started to follow him”, adding “Then, Kim Hyun Jae used his forces to close the door to not get caught. My finger got stuck and my nail swelled up and started bleeding. It hurt and I cried. At first, he said sorry, but as I continued to cry because of the pain, he said things like, ‘Why are you crying over something so small?’. When I told him that he would cry too if he got hurt like this, he responded, ‘If I don’t cry, would you kill me?’ or something similar.”

Tormented by verbal abuse, the revealer reported Kim Hyun Jae for school violence. However, the case was reportedly closed with the brief explanation that “kids often play with each other that way”.

The revealer added, “I began to get nervous and feel like I would vomit knowing Kim Hyun Jae’s return to activity. My anxiety symptoms reappeared and uncomfortable feelings kept on piling up when I saw him again. That’s why I gain my courage to write this post”.
