Actor Jang Ki-yong thanked the “Now We Are Breaking Up” team and Song Hye-kyo for coming to visit him in the military.
On SBS Power FM’s “Cultwo Show,” which aired on March 10th, Chanyeol, Jang Ki-yong, and Kim Hyo-jin of the Korean army’s musical “Meissa’s Song” appeared as guests.
Jang Ki-yong, who joined the military in August last year, surprised people by saying, “In two months, I will be promoted to a corporal.”
Continuing his introduction of the musical with the cast, he also told a story about the drama “Now We Are Breaking Up,” which he filmed before joining the army.
Jang Ki-yong said, “I finished filming about four days before I joined the army. I saw what I filmed a month after I arrived at the military base, and I was in such a hurry because I was in the military, so I wondered, “Is that me?” and I was awkward on TV, so I was like “Is that me?”‘ “It felt like that,” he recalled.
When asked if Song Hye-kyo, who worked with him in the drama, came to visit, he replied, “Song Hye-kyo gave me great support by coming to see me with a whole of our “Now We Are Breaking Up” team.”
Jang Ki-yong, who was born in 1992 and turns 30 years old this year, showed extraordinary chemistry with Song Hye-kyo, who is 11 years older, in the SBS drama “Now We Are Breaking Up,” which ended in January.
