NewJeans Claims Top Spot in August Star Brand Reputation Rankings

NewJeans shined brightly as they rose to the top of the star brand reputation rankings in August.

On August 30th, NewJeans secured the 1st place in the Star Brand Reputation rankings for August 2023, according to the big data analysis results by the Korean Corporate Reputation Research Institute. Following them were 2nd place Son Heung-min, 3rd place Lim Young-woong, 4th place BTS, and 5th place Ryu Hyun-jin.

The brand reputation of NewJeans, who clinched the 1st place in the Star Brand Reputation, was analyzed to be a total of 10,552,872, with participation index at 2,281,804, media index at 2,290,879, communication index at 2,345,334, and community index at 3,634,856. Compared to the brand reputation score of 8,173,376 in July, it increased by 29.11%.

The director of the Korean Corporate Reputation Research Institute, Koo Chang-hwan, analyzed the reputation by stating, “The NewJeans brand is expanding its global consumer base as a hip trend icon.”

The Korean Corporate Reputation Research Institute measured the participation index, media index, communication index, and community index for star brands through consumer behavior analysis using big data for star brands from July 30th, 2023 to August 30th, 2023. Compared to the star brand big data of 255,422,444 in July, it decreased by 3.17%.
