NewJeans Claims 1st Place in August Singer Brand Reputation Rankings

NewJeans has proved their top popularity once again by ranking No.1 in the singer brand reputation for August.

On August 26th, NewJeans secured the 1st place in the singer brand reputation announced by the Korean Corporate Reputation Research Institute. Lim Youngwoong ranked 2nd, followed by BTS in 3rd place, IVE in 4th place, and Seventeen in 5th place.

The brand of NewJeans recorded a brand reputation index of 9,762,620, with participation index of 2,065,771, media index of 2,319,190, communication index of 2,598,384, and community index of 2,779,275. This marked a 60.63% increase compared to their brand reputation index of 6,077,769 in July.

The Korean Corporate Reputation Research Institute analyzed 120,103,200 pieces of big data related to singer brands from July 26th to August 26th, 2023, focusing on consumer brand participation, media coverage, communication, and community analysis.

The Top 10 in singer brand reputation ranking for August 2023 is as follows: NewJeans, Lim Youngwoong, BTS, IVE, Seventeen, BLACKPINK, Jeon Somi, Kim Ho Jung, LE SSERAFIM, NCT.

In 2nd place, Lim Youngwoong’s brand recorded a reputation index of 7,438,057 with participation index of 1,513,952, media index of 2,722,455, communication index of 1,679,483, and community index of 1,522,166. This marked a 6.07% decrease compared to July’s brand reputation index of 7,918,727.

In 3rd place, BTS had a brand reputation index of 6,553,163 with participation index of 689,105, media index of 2,181,341, communication index of 1,786,814, and community index of 1,895,904. This marked an 8.11% decrease compared to July’s brand reputation index of 7,131,169.

In 4th place, IVE recorded a brand reputation index of 4,353,000 with participation index of 935,165, media index of 1,563,925, communication index of 870,059, and community index of 983,852. This marked a 16.68% increase compared to July’s brand reputation index of 3,730,668.

In 5th place, Seventeen had a brand reputation index of 4,269,150 with participation index of 867,362, media index of 1,622,190, communication index of 871,206, and community index of 908,392. This marked a 29.68% increase compared to July’s brand reputation index of 3,292,066.
