Netizens React to Cha Eun-woo’s Mother’s Strict Upbringing Method

On January 30, a topic titled “Cha Eun-woo’s mother” was published on the Korean forum Pann Nate, drawing huge attention with over 240,000 views and 200 comments. This topic is made in response to recent viral photos of Cha Eun-woo’s brother, who drew attention due to his astounding visuals.

“The mother, who gave birth to Cha Eun-woo and his brother, said that she didn’t praise them much when they were young because she was afraid that praising them for their visuals too much would cause them to become arrogant”, the author of the topic said, admiring Cha Eun-woo’s mother’s strict upbringing method.

The author then continued by expressing, “Meanwhile, mothers of other Korean men who are 100 times worse would praise them all the time, causing these men to think they are really good looking. As a result, when these men grow up and get rejected, they become angry and commit crimes”.

Under the comment section, a lot of netizens seem to agree with this point of view. Below are some of their comments:

  • Cha Eun-woo and his brother are worth more than 1,000 toxic Korean men (Hanam). We need to preserve their genes.
  • I think Korean men need to be raised strictly from a young age to lower their self-esteem. Otherwise, when they grow up and get rejected, they wouldn’t be able to control their anger.
  • I’m just curious about Cha Eun-woo’s parents. They gave birth to two sons who look exactly like each other… wouldn’t they both look like celebrities?
  • The toxic Korean men hate Cha Eun-woo, claiming that they prefer manly men. They said that Jung Woo-sung and Won-bin are better, but if Jung Woo-sung and Won-bin are in their 20s, these toxic Korean men would have used the same “manly men” excuse against them too
