Unexpected past images of the actors in Netflix’s original series “The Glory”

As Netflix’s “The Glory” rises in popularity, netizens are also paying attention to the filmography of the cast.

The Glory” is a drama that depicts the desperate revenge prepared by Moon Dong Eun (Song Hye Kyo, a woman whose soul was broken due to school violence during her childhood, and the people who fall into the whirlwind of her revenge.

Centering around Song Hye Kyo, “The Glory”, which was created by the collaboration between writer Kim Eun Sook and director Ahn Gil Ho, stars various actors, including Lee Do Hyun, Lim Ji Yeon, Yeom Hye Ran, Park Sung Hoon, Jung Sung Il, Kim Hieora, Cha Joo Young, Kim Gun Woo, Jung Ji So, Shin Ye Eun, etc.

In particular, many of the supporting actors in “The Glory” have gained recognition in their own previous works. Some surprised viewers by showing transformations that are completely different from their existing images. 

First, Park Sung Hoon plays a villain in this work. He appears as Jeon Jae Joon, one of the students who bullied Moon Dong Eun. Although Park Sung Hoon can flexibly go back and forth between bad and nice roles with his expressions and excellent acting skills, many audiences still remember him as Jang Go Rae in KBS’s “My Only One”.

Jung Sung Il, who plays Park Yeon Jin (Lim Ji Yeon)’s husband Ha Do Young, previously drew attention with his appearance in “Our Blues” as the husband of Sun Ah (Shin Min Ah). In “The Glory”, Jung Sung Il aroused explosive responses as he perfectly digested a character that is powerful yet gentle.

Jung Ji So portrays the childhood of the female lead Moon Dong Eun, the school bullying victim in “The Glory”. In fact, she also appeared in the famous movie “Parasite” as Da Hye, the eldest daughter of President Park (Lee Sun Kyun), and caught the attention of audiences around the world. Jung Ji So is also a familiar face to Korean viewers because she also starred in Netflix’s hit “Hellbound” and joined the girl group WSG Wannabe formed through MBC’s entertainment program “Hangout with Yoo”.

Shin Ye Eun, who successfully pulled off the childhood appearance of bully gang’s leader Park Yeon Jin, is a promising young actress who used to make hot topics with her innocent visual in “More Than Friends”, “A-Teen”, and “Revenge of Others”. Heo Dong Won, in the role of a teacher at Semyung Elementary School who keeps Moon Dong Eun in check, took on an active role in the episode of the lottery prize split lawsuit in “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” with Kim Hieora.
