NCT Johnny will take a temporary break from activities due to a clavicle injury.
SM Entertainment released an official statement on June 12th that reads, “Johnny sustained an injury during content filming on June 11th. He collided his right shoulder with the studio entrance door.“
The company further explained, “The examination results showed a fracture in the right clavicle. The medical team advised him to wear a brace and minimize movement until he recovers.”
All of Johnny’s schedules have been put on hold. SM Entertainment asked for fans’ understanding, “Johnny plans to focus on treatment and recovery. We will inform you of his resumption schedule at a later date.”
SM Entertainment concluded, “We apologize for causing concern to the fans. Our company will do our best to ensure Johnny can meet his fans in a healthy condition.”
In the meantime, NCT is organizing their first full-group offline concert, “NCT Nation: To The World,” in August. NCT subunits including NCT 127, NCT Dream, WayV, NCT U, and others will participate in the concert.
