“Drunk driving” Kim Sae-ron is doing “this” to make her living
It has been revealed that actress Kim Sae-ron, who is currently self-reflecting on drunk driving, is making her living by giving acting lessons
On March 22nd, Newsen reported, quoting a casting director, “Kim Sae-ron is giving private acting lessons to rookie actors and aspiring actors near her home.“
They explained, “An advertising agency official has been assisting Kim Sae-ron, whose income has been cut off since earlier this year. She teaches 4~5 people, including bit-part actors and aspiring actors, and creates a group chat room to schedule lessons.”
They added, “Kim Sae-ron spends her time reflecting on her reckless past mistakes and rebooting her acting career. It’s been 2 years since she’s been self-reflecting. I hope she can mature as an actress and seize the opportunity to make a comeback.“
Previously, in May 2022, Kim Sae-ron was booked for violating traffic laws (drunk driving) after hitting guardrails and trees several times near Hakdong Intersection in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. At the time, Kim Sae-ron refused the police’s request for a blood alcohol test at the scene. Subsequent blood tests at a nearby hospital revealed a blood alcohol concentration of 0.2%, which is at the level for license revocation.
Accordingly, Judge Lee Hwan-ki of the Seoul Central District Court’s Criminal Division 4 sentenced Kim Sae-ron to a fine of 20 million won last April. Both Kim Sae-ron and the prosecution waived their right to appeal, confirming the first-instance ruling.
