LE SSERAFIM Announced Legal Actions Against Malicious Comments, “Even Underaged Member’s Rights Are Violated”

LE SSERAFIM’s agency Source Music announced on its official fan community on Weverse on March 22nd, “We have recently identified an increase in malicious posts that cross the line using malicious personal attacks and anonymity against our artists,” adding, “We are strengthening our monitoring and gathering evidence.”

“As artists’ personal rights, including minor members’, are seriously violated, we are sternly responding to malicious posts regardless of channels such as SNS and online communities,” it said. “Source Music will continue to make efforts to protect the rights and interests of its artists,” the angency added.

Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM recently released its third mini-album, “EASY,” and the title song of the same name successfully entered the Billboard Hot 100.

“Hello, we’re Source Music.

We are taking regular legal action against creators of malicious posts, including insults, sexual harassment, dissemination of false information, malicious slander and defamation against LE SSERAFIM.

We would like to inform you that we have noticed the recent increase in malicious posts that cross the line using malicious personal attacks and anonymity against our artists, and are strengthening our monitoring and gathering evidence of them.

Posts to blasphemy and slander the artists’ personality, sexual harassment, ridicule and use of abusive language based on false information are all subject to complaint. We also collect posts which were made for the purpose of systematically creating negative public opinion on the artists, then were deleted to leave no evidence through the real-time monitoring system.

As artists’ personal rights, including underage members’, are seriously violated, we are responding sternly to malicious posts regardless of channels such as SNS and online communities.

We are also actively using valuable information from fans through the Source Music legal response account.
