Lee Soon Jae explains his 19+ congratulatory message at Lee Seung Gi & Lee Da In’s wedding
Actor Lee Soon Jae mentioned his shocking congratulatory speech at the wedding of his juniors Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In.
“Jung Young Jin, Choi Wook’s Maebul Show” podcast, which aired on May 4th, featured Lee Soon Jae, Lee Hee Jin, and Kang Su Jin as guests.
Referring to Lee Soon Jae’s congratulatory speech at the recent wedding of Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In, Choi Wook said, “Your remark, ‘Sleep a lot when you still have strength’, became a hot topic”.
In this regard, Lee Soon Jae explained his relationship with Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In, revealing that he met Lee Seung Gi through MBC’s drama “The King 2 Hearts” and that he knew Lee Da In because she’s Kyeon Mi Ri’s daughter.
The actor shared, “Both of them are so beautiful”. He then surprised everyone when saying, “When I direct weddings, I always emphasize that couples should share their love enthusiastically when they are young. If you don’t do that, why are you getting married?”
Lee Soon Jae explained, “Sleeping together is the most fundamental factor that binds a couple’s love tightly”, adding “In our time, we used to be respectful and mindful of each other, but that’s not the right way anymore”.
He continued, “What I mean is that you should solve everything with love. Many couples argue over small problems. You can’t live your whole life with just love and passion. Trust and reliance come from there”.
Lee Sun Jae emphasized that sleeping together is the foundation of the married life, saying “It’s where creativity and ambition arise. Make lots of memories of love. You can’t live your whole life with only love, or only passion.”
Meanwhile, Lee Soon Jae attended Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In’s wedding at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas Hotel in Samsung-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul on April 7th.
At the request of Yoo Jae Suk, who hosted the first part of the wedding ceremony, Lee Soon Jae delivered his congratulatory speech, saying “Share love with each other actively and vigorously. Do it five times a week. You can’t do it anymore when you become weaker. I hope you two march vigorously towards the same goal”.
