tvN’s Sat-Sun drama “Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938” ended with explosive reviews on June 11th.

After making a crash landing in 1938, Lee Yeon (Lee Dong Wook) did everything he could to pay off the debt owed by the times. His sincere efforts to ensure the happiness of his precious people in a peaceful world. He awakened Lee Yeon of 1938, who would have remained in the dark history, and restored the friendship that had been disrupted. After sharing the sincerity that he could not express with Lee Rang (Kim Bum) in a heartfelt farewell, Lee Yeon reunited with Nam Ji Ah (Jo Bo Ah), creating a heartwarming and touching ending.

In the 2049 rating chart, “Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938” also achieved its highest rating results with 4.4% in Seoul (peak 5.5%) and 4.5% nationwide (peak 5.2%). The drama proved its true value by maintaining its position as the highest-rating show among programs on all channels.

Before returning to the present day on the day of the lunar eclipse, Lee Yeon prepared for the final battle. With little time left, he created plans with the Myoyeonggak family to save those who were kidnapped. However, variables still occurred. The first mountain god resurrected by Cheon Moo Young took away the stone. If they had all the treasures, the world would come to an end. Since Lee Yeon had to return during the lunar eclipse no matter what, Ryu Hong Joo and Lee Rang went to find the kidnapped people instead, while Lee Yeon tried to defeat the police chief Kato Ryuhei. During the enemy’s counterattack, an unimaginable supporter appeared and turned the game upside down.

Lee Yeon arrived at the door of time just in time before it closed. However, he still regretted that he couldn’t bid farewell to Lee Rang, while Lee Rang was also heading towards his brother. The tearful farewell of the Yeon-Rang brothers after sharing their sincerity and embracing each other tightly left a heavy feeling in the hearts of viewers. In the end, he returned to the modern time with Nam Ji Ah. He welcomed Nam Ji Ah with a red umbrella as usual. Holding her hands with a peaceful expression on his face and enjoying their happy moments, Lee Yeon smiled happily, marking a pleasant ending.
