Jeon So Min praises and complains about Haha, “He may look short but he’s a mature big brother” (Running Man)
“Running Man” Jeon So Min and Haha solved their disappointments about each other with a glass of makgeolli.
The August 6th broadcast of SBS’s entertainment program “Running Man” continued with “Running Man Outing: Summer Vacation” special episode.
After the mud fight, the members began to prepare dinner. They decided to make cauldron fried chicken and seafood soup. Yoo Jae Suk confidently said, “Seafood soup is easy, isn’t it? We can make it like jjamppong. Let’s make jjamppong rice”.
Kim Jong Kook made the fire, while Yang Se Chan quickly prepared the chicken and dough. Under Yoo Jae Suk’s leadership, the members began to cook jjamppong. Seeing Jeon So Min put the squid in the soup without cutting it, Yoo Jae Suk kept shouting, “Standby”, while Ji Seok Jin and Kim Jong Kook reacted intensely, drawing laughter. Yoo Jae Suk tasted the jjamppong for the first time, Yoo Jae Suk expressed disappointment, saying “It’s bland”. Later, the members were surprised as the soup tasted better after boiling for a while, However, it turned out that Yoo Jae Suk and Yang Se Chan secretly added seasoning to the soup.
The fried chicken also looked good and tasted delicious. The members then enjoyed the food with makgeolli (Korean rice wine). During the meal, Haha started a situation act by saying “So Min ah, if there’s anything about me that makes you upset, just say it all”. Jeon So Min said, “I felt so upset”, then immediately immersed in the situation and acted as if she was crying. Taking a sip of the makgeolli, she added, “Let’s get along well with each other”. Haha also had a glass of makgeolli and responded, “Let’s eat and resolve everything”.
After the meal, “Running Man” members wrote down who they wanted to praise and who disappointed them. Yoo Jae Suk praised Yang Se Chan, “I want to compliment him for making delicious chicken for us”. However, he immediately targeted Haha, saying “Haha needs to improve. He keeps interrupting me when I laugh, ruins the mood, and sings loudly after getting drunk”.
Jeon So Min praised Haha, saying “Thank you for saying, ‘If there’s anything that makes you upset, just say it. Let’s be closer in the future’, and always treating me warmly. He may look short but he’s a mature big brother”. However, she also picked Haha as the member who needs improvements, saying “Exposing underwear while playing games is very embarrassing. I hope you stop bragging about that”. Hearing that, Haha replied, “Honestly, I feel good about it. It’s probably the biggest compliment for me.”
During the break, Kim Jong Kook also confessed his feelings about getting married. He said, “I should have gotten married in my 30s. That’s my regret. I’ve become too realistic now and I know marriage is not always happy”. Ji Seok Jin refuted Kim Jong Kook’s words, saying “There is happiness (in marriage). But it’s true if you try to have everything you like, you can’t get married”.
