Source Music’s rookie group “LE SSERAFIM” posted notice of complaint.
Source Music said on August 10th, “Our company has decided to initiate and continue legal proceedings on a regular basis against perpetrators of malicious activities targeting LE SSERAFIM and any content by the company, including ill-intentioned criticism, the spread of groundless information and defamation.”
Source Music added, “We will initiate legal proceedings based on evidence submitted by our fans as well as collected through our own internal monitoring efforts, and no settlements or leniency will be extended to the perpetrators of such actions.” Then they announced how to submit cases of abuse.
LE SSERAFIM debuted as a six-member group (Sakura, Kim Chae-won, Huh Yun-jin, Kazuha, Hong Eun-chae, Kim Ga-ram) on May 2nd.
However, Kim Ga-ram‘s school violence suspicions were raised before LE SSERAFIM’s debut. In response, Source Music and HYBE denied allegations and warned of legal action.
As related suspicions poured out afterwards, HYBE suspended Kim Ga-ram’s activities 18 days after her debut and terminated her exclusive contract on July 20th.
