Comedian Kim Shin Young shared her impressions of “The Glory” and pile endless praises for Song Hye Kyo’s acting.
In the January 10th episode of MBC FM4U’s “Kim Shin Young’s Hope Song at Noon”, Kim Shin Young revealed that she watched “The Glory” while in quarantine.
In particular, the female comedian mentioned this after listening to a listener’s story about how they watch the drama up to episode 4.
“I fell in love with ‘The Glory’ during my quarantine period”, Kim Shin Young said, adding, “I really enjoyed watching it. The listener watched up to episode 5, but I can’t go even to the bathroom until episode 8 and did nothing but keep on watching.”
Afterwards, Kim Shin Young added, “I think Song Hye Kyo‘s acting is amazing. I was particularly blown away at the part where Song Hye Kyo clapped her hands and said, ‘Yeon Jin, you’re cool!’ . And it was extremely hair-raising when Song Hye Kyo told Jae Joon, ‘I was someone’s daughter, too’. Song Hye Kyo gave me goosebumps. I’m looking forward to season 2 of ‘The Glory’ in March.”

The comedian also praised the acting of “The Glory” cast members, saying, “Every single actor behind the villains was outstanding. From the child actors to the adult actors, even a tree in ‘The Glory’ seems to be good at acting.”
Finally, Kim Shin Young emphasized, “The actors’ acting, the director’s directing, and writer Kim Eun Sook’s unique dialogue – all three aspects are perfect. I want to live in ‘The Glory’.”
