Singer Jini thanked fans who have waited for her solo debut
On October 11th, Jini held the showcase for her first EP album “An Iron Hand In A Velvet Glove” at Shinhan pLay Square Live Hall in Mapo-gu, Seoul.
Jini debuted as a member of NMIXX in February last year, but suddenly left the group after 10 months and terminated her exclusive contract with JYP Entertainment. At that time, JYP briefly stated “personal circumstances” as the reason for Jini’s withdrawal without giving a detailed explanation.
When asked to say something to fans who have waited for her comeback, Jini said, “First of all, I want to sincerely thank fans for having waited for me. I want to tell them that we will make many memories together for a long time in the future. I will bring better performances so please look forward to them”.
Meanwhile, Jini’s solo debut song “C’mon” is a synth-pop energetic track with an addictive melody and lyrics expressing love. The song will be released at 6 p.m. today (October 11th).
