Singer Kim Se Jeong revealed an anecdote about how she almost did not appear on “Produce 101” in the past

Kim Se Jeong appeared on KBS Cool FM’s “Park Myung Soo’s Radio Show”, which aired on the morning of Sep 15th, and talked with DJ Park Myung Soo.

Referring to the casting of “Produce 101”, Kim Se Jeong shared, “At that time, I was strangely confident. When the PD came to cast us, I had a plan to debut with friends inside the company (gugudan members), so I said I’d debut with my friends rather than participate in the show and delay my debut.”

She caused laughter by adding, “But the PD had an eye on me and took me. It’s dizzying to think about it again. I wonder what would have happened if it hadn’t been like that.”
